The objective of the faculty is to impart training on Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing, at technician, technologist and professional levels. The courses are designed to be employment oriented and their contents are revised and updated continuously to keep abreast with the technological advancement. The faculty , though meant for Indian surveyors, also caters for the students from the neighbouring developing countries. The faculty also shares its survey education facilities with the Indian Universities and other Government Departments.
